I come from a classically trained family. So from an early age I lived and breathed music. Born and raised in South Africa I received my degree in Theater and Music from the University of the Free State in South Africa. I furthered my studies in New York and Connecticut and ended up living in Los Angeles. I've played in numerous orchestras and groups including Free State Philharmonic Orchestra South Africa, Music Incorporated Quartet, New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Modern Gypsy Jazz Quintet Los Angeles, Tarab Orchestra North Hollywood, Karoo Pops Band and Peace Orchestra in Los Angeles as well as doing a ton of recording work all over LA. I love making music and I love teaching music :-)
