Hillary has been studying music for twelve years, specializing in violin, viola, voice, and guitar. Hillary has played in numerous orchestras, including the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra, Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra, and the National Philharmonic Summer Strings Institute. Hillary Dunkley has been fostering a love of music in her students for four years. A senior at Walt Whitman High School, Hillary has studied the violin, viola, voice, and guitar for twelve years, taking the techniques and methods of pedagogy from her music studies and applying them to her own students. Hillary specializes in beginner and intermediate students. All ages are welcome. Students will learn foundational skills, techniques, note reading, music theory, and sight-reading.
