I am currently an undergraduate music student studying classical guitar. My repertoire ranges from music from the Renaissance to modern compositions as well as a large portion of Latin American music. I also enjoy playing folk guitar and arranging popular songs into solo guitar works. If you are looking for a private guitar teacher, send a message and I will respond within twenty-four hours. My setlist is constantly growing and changing so I am always ready to learn requested songs/pieces for each lesson.
During my time at Shamrock Music Shoppe, I was responsible for teaching students of all ages and interests one-on-one. Ages ranged from children in Kindergarten to adults in their sixties. The lesson plans and material were left completely up to me and if a student wasn't satisfied, they would simply discontinue their lessons when payment for the next month would roll around. This was rarely the case however, and the students improved by leaps and bounds, expressing delight as they put their favorite songs and pieces under their fingertips. I taught students who were interested in classic rock, punk rock, death metal, classical, blues, country, and folk. The freedom and variety made the job very exciting and quite a blast.+ Read More
Grant was an awesome guy! Our lessons were great and I was always excited and ready for the next lesson. He has an amazing understanding of classical acoustic theory but stills knows how to shred if thats what you want. Grant was an amazing teacher who explained theory well and knew how to bring in application of the theory with a song that made it understandable and enjoyable. If I can't stress this enough Grant is awesome all around and he is an amigo teacher! 10/10+ Read More
