Violin with Gjergji M.

I am a professional violinist since 1981. I graduated from University of Tirana, Albania with a Bachelors in Violin. Since then I haven't stopped teaching violin both privately and through schools. I have a great experience in classical violin. I have performed with orchestras and being the first violinist for the Opera Albania, theaters and ballet performances. In 1998, I moved to Athens, Greece, where I continued to perform for different orchestras throughout the country. In the meantime, my passion for teaching kept me going even with speaking little Greek at that time. I lived there for 15 years and with other artists we created a band called 'Adriatika" playing traditional Balkan songs. Throughout my years of teaching the violin, many of my students have pursued great careers either by getting scholarships into the best music schools such as Italy, France, England, Germany, Switzerland, New York, Michigan, or by acquiring a position in an orchestra or creating their own band. Recently, I moved to Tampa and I am so excited to meet you, share my knowledge, experience, and make violin lessons a fun and happy time of your day but also be serious and accomplish our goals. Definitely, all ages and all levels are welcomed. Lessons are going to be adjusted to anyone's particular level and knowledge. Feel free to contact me at any time for any questions.
