Cello with Gigi B.

I have been a cellist for about ten years, I am currently a college student with teaching experience of about 1.5 years. Although I'm a fairly new teacher, I am fully committed to my students and have a strong passion for music to which I hope to spread to my students. Currently, I am involved in two orchestras, a Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra. In the past I have also been apart of a local youth group orchestra as well as multiple honors orchestras throughout my time in high school. I take private lessons myself for solo work and do gigs for weddings and events. I teach cello at the beginner and intermediate levels, all age ranges are welcome! My aim as a teacher is to structure lessons around what students hope to accomplish. I believe goal setting is a very important aspect of being a musician and encourage it within my lessons. I also strive to spread the value of music to my students and advocate for them to find their own meaning of music.
