My name is Gena Su. I am a music educator who graduated from Boston University school of music. In these two years, I built my own teaching methods for the age of elementary and secondary, also learned the strong foundation of music theory/history. 

I majored in music education/ flute performance in my undergraduate. I taught flute classes during my undergraduate study. Most of my 15 flute students continually engaged in all kinds of music making. Parents and students both love the way of learning the flute. 

My teaching philosophy is a student-centered teaching model. In my class, I, as a facilitator, but authority, hope to build a bridge that is connecting both teacher's music world and students' music world! Now, Let's have fun! 

We will learn basic breath technique, fingering, and easy songs through playing the music games, drawing, and singing. Students will learn fast and be happy at the same time!

My daughter enjoyed Gena ' flut teaching very much during the past six monthes , Gena is very enthusiasm person , and  teach both of flute and music skill knowledge, 
we would keep Gena to teach our daughter flut and music knowledge for next six monthes, she is indeed great flut teaching.

Gena is a very nice person with great patience. She is also good at explain things with vivid examples. My kid loves her, he said he would definitely take another class from her!

Gena is a very good teacher with very a lot patience, I learned with her for 2 months, I didn't feel anything hard during play the flute. Great!
