    About Gabrielle S.

My greatest passion in life is teaching. I was born in upstate New York and raised all over the United States, and experienced great success at school due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. I have committed my life to teach others in fine arts such as drawing, painting, sketching, dance, and performance. I am committed to providing your family with a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. I have been dancing since I was the age of 3 (professionally since the age of 15) and teaching dance (ages 2.5 - 18, and adult) for the last 13 years. When I was 13 years old, I taught my first beginner jazz class. I had always had a passion for dance, but I was fascinated by the ability to share my training with others. As a teacher, I also pair as a life coach, a safe place to talk about struggles and grief and everything in between, as well as the opportunity to build a relationship to give guidance and suggestions for a happier and healthier life. Those are the things I strive for as an educator. After owning and directing two successful dance studios of my own, as well as directing three dance programs - the thing I feel like is most important as an educator, is environment. Kids, adults, students in life - we all want to feel safe, heard, and inspired. It is so important in order for individuals to blossom and learn in that type of atmosphere.
