Hello! I'm Gabriel and I began to play the cello when I was 15 years old after watching a metal band perform with only cellos and no guitars. As I began to learn the cello and play in orchestra, I grew to love classical music! I went to school at Texas State University and received two bachelors degrees in Music and German. I am now currently a Middle School Spanish Teacher and a member of the Lone Star Philharmonic. I have a lot of experience playing in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings and have performed in various venues from Texas to Central Europe. My passion in teaching is helping out beginners get the best head start possible and get them on their way to becoming phenomenal cellists!
