About Gabriel B.

I have experience teaching a variety of subjects to a wide range of different students and I customize the lessons to each individual student's learning style. Music lessons are my strongest area of teaching, but I have experience tutoring students from age 8-60. My students get the opportunity to learn in a safe, structured environment where they are able to express their individuality by connecting the learning to their own experience. I encourage my students to explore their potential by lighting the way towards their goals while assigning tasks in well defined, achievable steps.
As a person who returned to college after age 30 to finish a bachelor's degree and complete a master's degree, I understand the challenges that different learners face from a unique perspective. Helping others to achieve their goals in spite of adversity is my favorite thing to do!

Our first lesson with Mr. B and Take Lessons and very impressed! Our instructor arrived early, was very friendly and professional and exudes a love of music. My 11 year old daughter really liked her lesson and is eager for the next. I would whole-heartedly recommend this instructor.

Working along side with Gabriel was great. He not only teaches music and saxophone, he teaches what it really means to a be serious a musician. Thanks to him I've learned how to read, play, and listen (ear training) to music better. Under his instruction for a few days, he gets down to point and figures out any problem a student has. You won't regret working with him.
