Singing styles taught- Pop, RnB, Soul, Jazz. I will teach you a method of singing technique based on "Emotion Centered Singing" which was passed on to me by my teacher in Australia. This technique helped me immensely in finding my voice and expand my range. I'm thrilled to be able to share my experiences as a performer and teaching artist with you. This technique will truly help you understand music beyond melody and composition but also through text and individual interpretation and story telling. I will help you choose repertoire for auditions and performances, birthday parties, celebrations. Most importantly is to have fun while learning.

Hi there, my name is Francisca! I graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Sydney Australia with (High Class Honors) and Majored in Music Performance (voice major) and Sub Majors in Composition and Theatre. I love working with beginning and intermediate level students. I am a very passionate and dedicated Voice Instructor. I have over 15 years experience performing on various projects around the world. I have performed Off-Broadway, in Regional theaters, music festivals, and The Sydney Opera House; Australia to name a few. I have also had a great career guiding and teaching students on their musical journey. My performance background has been a huge asset in my teaching style. Lesson Details**** Every Voice and piano lesson is tailored to your individual learning levels, so that you are always challenged and having fun. For all Online Voice lessons: It's great if you have a pair of headphones so we can contain the sound, and avoid feedback. I will teach you a method of singing technique based on "Emotion Centered Singing" which was passed on to me by my teacher in Australia. This technique helped me immensely in finding my voice and expand my range. This technique will truly help you understand music beyond melody. It will help you understand music through text, individual interpretation and story telling. The styles I teach are Musical Theatre Singing, Pop, and Rock. If these are routes you would like to take, I would love to help you on your way there. I will help you choose repertoire for auditions and performances, or even learn that song for a birthday party or special occasion. I love Francisca’s patience, openness and expertise with vocals and playing the keys. I enjoyed our lively and very down to earth session and learning about breath and vocal health. She gave me tips since I lived in a Nevada which is a very dry place and ways I could improve my vocals in that climate. I recommend anyone who is looking for a straightforward approach to technique to get lessons from Francisca! She is amazing!

What a wonderful experience it was to work with this instructor. Her own experiences and talent far surpasses anything I had expected to experience in an online session. She has an ability to help me find my voice and I am truly grateful to work with someone with her patience and ability to adapt to my level of learning. She is wonderful for any age group and extremely accommodating to make time for lessons. I would recommend everyone to give her a try and would guarantee you will not be disappointed!

I’ve had such a great time doing virtual lessons with Francisca! It is always so scary and nerve-racking to start with a new instructor, but I immediately felt at ease. Her energy is welcoming and calming, and What I admire most is that she can feel when I’m not emotionally in the song but instead in my head. Thank you for pushing me to break through these vocal cord cobwebs and get these pipes polished!
