Flute with Fran K.

A classically trained flutist from Europe, I have performed with many symphony, philharmonic, opera and chamber orchestras both as rank and file musician as well as soloist. I love chamber music and have a particular passion for baroque, French and contemporary repertoire. I hold a bachelors and masters degree as well as advanced performance studies. I have recorded and produced several albums including Patrick Gallois and Sinfonia Finlandia's performance of Kai Nieminen's concerti. I have been teaching according to the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) curriculum since 1998 and was their national representative for Finland. Before moving to the United States I performed extensively in Europe, Asia, Africa and Canada and South America. Here my performances have included the Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.
