My teaching style: laid back and patient. Everyone learns a little differently, and I cater to your needs. I am fire performer (since 2008) and have been teaching hula hoop dance and poi for the last two years. I also teach several other fire arts,as well as fire safety. Before that, I spent several years traveling over the Southwest, chasing seasons so that I could rock climb year round, introducing technique and safety to new found friends, and watching them quickly surpass my own skill level. I have been cooking since I could see over the stove. In my years following high school, I found myself working in fine dining restaurants and picking up numerous techniques from the chefs with whom I worked. I was vegetarian for several years and am now on a grain free diet, due to celiac. I have completed coursework in nutrition as part of my schooling. My cooking focus is on flavorful and nutritious dishes, with influences from all over the world.
