- Levels Taught:
- Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Hello! I have been teaching guitar for over 7 years now. Form beginners to advanced students I make it my duty to find the students interests and help them develop their own sound. As a Berklee College of Music graduate I have studied composition and music production, skills that I am happy to teach any student. In addition to teaching guitar my students have the option to learn music theory, as well as recording and mixing original compositions that we develop together in class and as homework assignments (DAWs - Logic & Protools). My specialities include Blues, Classic Rock, Jazz & electronic beat production.
- Teaches students:
- Ages 5+ and special needs
- Teaching since:
I have been playing guitar, piano, bass, ukulele and drums for 11 years now (teaching for 7 years - Acoustic & Electric). As a child I started playing pop music, then I became obsessed with classic rock music (Guns & Roses, Iron Maiden, ACDC, etc). Soon after I started playing a lot of Modern Rock and Metal music. Then in my 20's I started to play blues and jazz as a means to learn advanced concepts in music and fell in love with the guitar all over again. At the age of 21 I went to Berklee College of Music where I studied composition and music production for four years.
I am confident that I have the skills and resources to teach anyone from a beginner to an advanced musician.
At Red Gate Recorders I have had the pleasure of working with grammy winning artists such as Robert Sput Searight & Nate Werth. Red Gate Recorders has been the studio of choice for jazz legend Herbie Hancock, Fitz and the Tantrums, etc.
Through this studio I have worked as a live sound engineer for Devon Taylor - Justin Bieber's drummer, Tiffani WorldWide - Drummer for super Bowl half-time show 2016, Mono neon, Arianna Powell, etc.
At Limitless Sky Records my job requires me to write background music, jingles & film scores to any video content. I am also a boom operator on film and documentary sets (location sound).
Primarily a guitar instructor for beginner classical guitarists & advanced blues guitarists. All students studied music theory and their instrument simultaneously.

Mr Farrokh, was on time & very patience with the children.
My son has ADHD and is not easy to get interested in anything except video games. But Farrokh had him interested and engaged the whole time!!?
Very good instructor. Continually brings new material and assigns follow up work that helps my son improve and learn bass guitar.
He was patient and amazing at the art of teaching. He knew how to teach guitar at grassroot level basics and it was awesome that a person with that level of skill was so good at teaching a beginner.
Amazing guitar teacher! Would highly recommend him! Taught me about music theory and production too!
Farrokh was a wonderful teacher - very helpful and patient. Also did a great job of incorporating music theory and production into the lessons. Would definitely recommend!
