Experienced teacher of 7 years specializing in the beginner or intermediate voice student. After studies in voice and piano at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, I spent five years writing songs and teaching in Nashville, TN. I currently teach a variety of music classes at a private school in Oak Brook, as well as my private students. My lessons are customized to each individual student's needs, and I enjoy setting concrete goals for our time together. My priorities for our lessons are that you improve your vocal skills, learn music you have a real interest in, and feel comfortable enough to make mistakes. I am also available for lessons in piano, guitar, songwriting, and music theory.

I am a Music & Recording Arts teacher at Fusion Academy Oak Brook and look forward to building a private studio! I studied vocal performance at the Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana, and then moved to Nashville and recorded an EP entitled “A Little Hurt” with producer Todd Lombardo (Patty Loveless, Jerry Douglas, and Peter Bradley Adams).

During my time in Nashville, I further honed my craft in songwriting, taught voice lessons, and was a substitute teacher in the Nashville Public Schools.

I have been taking different types of music lessons since I was 3 years old. From different instruments, to musical theater, to songwriting, needless to say I've had a lot of teachers in the music world. Evan is not only one of the most talented people I know, but also an amazing teacher, inspiration, and motivator. He can always get me out of a funk and teach me new things about music styles, pushing me out of my comfort zone. I can honestly say that Evan is probably the best teacher I've ever had, he puts so much effort into his class and is really truly passionate about spreading his genuine love for music!
