I have experience teaching in a variety of settings level students. I am currently teaching students as a private teacher, and I helped some of my students audition for San Diego youth symphony and school orchestra assignments. I also have experience not only teaching young musicians in a small group system also performing and playing as a cellist of chamber ensembles and orchestra. 

As a music teacher, it is my goal that I want to give back the rich knowledge that I have received during my studies. I want to use my education and knowledge gained from SDSU and Suzuki Teacher Training to help students obtain a proper and valuable education. I desire to see young musicians refine and expand their passions and talents in music.

I am a professional cellist. I graduated from San Diego State University with a  Master of cello performance. 
As a music teacher, it is my goal that I want to give back the rich knowledge that I have received during my studies. I have built a reputable private studio in the San Diego area as a member of MTAC and Suzuki Associate of America.

Rachel can really see where our son is at with his knowledge of the cello. She was quick to set up a plan for his lessons and at home practice. She keeps him on track the whole lesson and that’s great because our son is easily distracted.
