I'm a violinist who is passionate about sharing my art both in the teaching studio and on the concert stage. I believe that music has the power to speak powerfully to people's hearts in ways that even words cannot, and I aim to help my students be moved by music themselves so that they may also move their audiences with their art. Having played the violin for over twenty years, I have a strong grasp of how to help each student tackle problems that they face, and to express themselves on the violin with greater ease and clarity. I am detailed, thorough, and thoughtful in my approach to each individual student, and you can expect to see improvement from the first lesson. I truly enjoy helping my students overcome difficulties, build technique, and above all, learn to love the music that they practice. I have received prizes from international competitions, graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music with honors, and am currently at the Juilliard School, where I am actively involved in chamber music, orchestral playing, and solo recitals year-round.
