Teaching since:

I am a professional Trumpet player with experience in writing, arranging, and music production. I completed my B.M. in Music performance and B.A. in Music technology from Northern Kentucky University in 2017 and am currently working on a M.M. in commercial music performance at Belmont University. I am an experienced performer in classical, jazz, and popular genres of music including blues, country, bluegrass, latin, swing, rock, r&b, and funk to name a few.

Before moving to Nashville, I got my start working professionally as a freelance musician in Cincinnati OH. Some of the local musicians and ensembles most notably include The Blue Wisp Big Band led by the world renown drummer, John Von Ohlen, Ed Moss’ Society Jazz Orchestra, The Flying Circus Big Band led by the College Conservatory of Music’s Scott Belck and The Voyager Sextet led by NKU’s Jazz Studies director Brian Hogg. I also leads my own project, The Eric Snyder Trio, which features me on both the trumpet and piano.
