I have a strong passion for teaching voice lessons. As a conservatory trained, professional singer, I feel very rewarded when my students gain confidence through music. I've been training for over fifteen years and have been teaching private voice lessons for over six years. I have experience teaching children as young as 4 years old through adults and everything in between. I also have experience teaching undergraduate classes at Binghamton University, such as "Beginning Voice for Non-Majors". Feel free to contact me for more information.

Lexi Bruck
Teacher's studio
My name is Lexi Bruck. I am a junior at Binghamton University and I took voice lessons with Emily G. during my sophomore year at Binghamton. I had taken voice lessons before working with Emily, but no teacher compares to her. She is not only extremely professional, but she treats everyone as a individual and truly cares about their progress. Emily works to strengthen the voice and uses different techniques in hopes of gaining the best and most clear sound from her students voices. I have been able to take her advice into the practice room and have seen such great results since working with her. Emily has an unbelievable passion for music and I would definitely work with her again!

Katie Leenig
Teacher's studio
My name is Katie Leenig. I am a Junior at Binghamton University studying Industrial and Systems Engineering and was a vocal student of Emily G.'s for the past two years. Before coming to Binghamton, I had taken voice lessons for six years, participated in NYSSMA and the New York State All State Music festival, and took part in multiple community and school musical productions. As as an incoming freshman engineering student, I feared that I would no longer be able to take voice lessons or be apart of the music program within the school. Emily was eager to help me continue my training regardless of my major and work with me each week to completely transform my vocal technique. After years of training with other coaches, I had never found a teacher more educated and aware my specific singing ability. She taught me how to correctly train so that I may sing multiple styles of music, broaden my range to become a true soprano, and learn to sing by the way it "felt" more so than by the way I "sounded". I greatly appreciate all that she has taught me and miss her terribly as a teacher, but I know that she is moving on to great things!

After seeing Emily G.'s students perform a number of times I've found them always to be a cut above the rest. Their voices are polished, they present themselves professionally, they're acting abilities have been heightened, and they exude confidence. That's the complete package! I took it upon myself to sit in on her lessons and have had the opportunity to coach her students privately on foreign languages, and I've discovered that these qualities are a result of Emily's guidance. She presents her students with challenges that push them to the next level, and she helps to guide them through it all with support and a sense of humor. The students are proof enough for me that Emily G.'s approach to teaching can do nothing but succeed.
