The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.

As the largest international community for people who live and work abroad, InterNations offers global networking opportunities, local events and expat-relevant information. At around 3,500 monthly events and activities, expats get to meet fellow internationals in their city, while forums and destination guides provide valuable tips and information. To ensure the quality of the network, InterNations membership is by approval only.

For nearly a century, we have been known for our excellence in performance, artistry, and collaboration—but most of all, for our belief in the inherent value of a creative life. We have helped launch the careers of countless performers, scholars, and music educators who have become leaders around the globe. Our more than 1,500 students come from all 50 states and as many as 55 countries. Sigma Alpha Iota is a professional International Music Fraternity for women.
