    About Emilie B.

I am a classically trained violinist and received my B.M. (Violin Performance) and my M.M. (Suzuki Pedagogy and Violin Performance) from Ithaca College. I believe that every child has the ability to develop a deep appreciation of music and I am committed to helping your child be the best learner that they can be. Playing an instrument brings out the best in students and through dedicated practice, they will find that they are developing life skills that enrich other parts of their learning. Persistence, patience, and curiosity are the three qualities that lead to the most fruitful lessons! In our on-line lessons, I will be giving your child detailed lesson notes and practice strategies to complete over the course of the week. In my experience, students who are having regular weekly lessons are more successful at becoming life-long learners. Through practice demos, one-on-one lessons, and other resources, I am committed to giving students (and parents) a thorough and well-rounded education. I'm looking forward to getting you know you and am excited to start learning together!
