Ages taught: Male: 14 and up; Female: 14 and up I am a professional pianist and singer at several locations in New York City. Graduated from a musical theatre conservatory, where I spent my days accompanying singers and doing rigorous individual practice. This experience built off of my 12 years of classical piano training in Chicago, where I studied under several professionals, one of whom is a Juilliard graduate. Other experience includes accompanying classes at Steps on Broadway. I have also worked with several young artists, coaching them for auditions for piano and voice. I began teaching piano three years ago and I now have experience teaching both young children and adults. My strengths as a teacher include my thorough technical background and my versatility in it’s application. I know not only how to teach classical piano but also how to foster an appreciation for a wide range of genre, from playing showtunes to hits on the radio!
