I obtained my BM
in the Philippines and my MA in Music major in Voice in Japan. I also have MA units in Japanese Studies. I have several years of teaching experience. I was a  solo performer specializing in classical music for coloratura sopranos for more than 10 years; a singing member of several choir groups and  ensembles some of which have participated in various international competitions; a musical director; choir conductor; college lecturer; and a private tutor.

I've been teaching singing for more than 10 years.  For a beginner who is interested in classical music and singing in the style of Jackie Evancho  or other classical singers; we will do a lot of exercises to improve your breathing; breath control; intonation;  articulation, and vocal resonance.  I believe in the values of hardwork and constant practice to become an effective singer. Effective because you are able to successfully convey your emotions and the essence of the song to your audience.

I've always been a lover of music, language, 
and learning. As a long-time student myself, I'm familiar with the hardwork any learning endeavor entails.This is why I love to teach. I'm determined  to discover all teaching methodologies suitable for every type of individual with varying levels of learning aptitudes and personalities. While you learn from me I learn from you.
