Elizabeth P. is an operatic soprano and a private voice teacher. Raised in Pennsylvania by a family of accordionists, she resisted the family tradition and pursued her love of singing. Elizabeth performs regularly in operas throughout the Bay area. She has sung with Opera Cultura, Phènix Opera, Just Opera, Verismo Opera, West Bay Opera Chorus, and Valhalla Productions. Her opera credits include Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Ernestina (L'Occasione Fa il Ladro), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), First Witch (Dido and Aeneas), Anna Gomez (The Consul), Giulia (La Scala di Seta), Chiquita (Coyotes and Rabbits), Waldvogel (Siegfried), Monica (The Medium), Oscar (Un Ballo in Maschera), Gerhilde (Die Walküre), and Carmela (La Llorona). Elizabeth is excellent at detecting areas for improvement!
Elizabeth is patient, kind, and does an excellent job coming up with analogies and exercises for her students. She always remembered what I liked to sing and what worked best for me and was unfailingly encouraging and positive. Not only is she great at what she does, but she always managed to bring a smile to my face. She is more than a great teacher and singer, but also a great person and mentor.
Jenna likes the lessons so much that she wants to go from a 30-minute Yo a 45-minute lesson!
