Viola with Elizabeth M.

Elizabeth Macintosh is currently pursuing her Bachelors degree in Viola Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. She began her musical journey at three years old when her parents signed her up for violin lessons at the local Suzuki program. When she was 14 she began playing the viola in order to form a string quartet with her pre-existing ensemble of three violins and a cello. Outside of performing, Elizabeth is enthusiastic about teaching. Since 2014, she has worked with both private violin and viola students and coached chamber music ensembles. During her senior year of high school, she organized and taught violin lessons to K-8 students at the Homeless Family Foundation Dowd Center.
