Experienced Ukulele instructor of over 8 years. All ages and skill levels welcome! I always cater the lessons to the goals of the students. Each lesson will be full of new material to help solidify great technique and musicality while encouraging creativity with the instrument. I've taken classes from Berklee College of Music and Musicians Institute, as well as through private instruction over the last 11 years. As a writer and performer of over 5 years, I have expertise in songwriting and performance (I even got the opportunity to play for Slash of Guns n' Roses!). I strive to help students develop not only as a musician, but as an artist. Let's get started!

About Elizabeth C.

Having performed hundreds of shows across the east coast playing rock and roll and blues, I’ve learned what it takes to become a true professional musician through musicality and performance. With my band, Elizabeth II, I’ve opened for artists like William DuVall (Alice and Chains) and even performed on Capitol Hill in Washington DC for a Recording Academy event where I got to work with Mike Clink (Producer for Guns n’ Roses, Heart, Motley Crue) and perform in front of Slash. With my band, I’ve landed distribution deals with Popup Music, released an EP and several singles on streaming platforms, put out music videos, built a large social media following, and even won an award from the Washington DC Wammies (Washington DC Music Awards) for my song “Lonely”, which won “Best Rock Song” in 2020. I actively perform as a hired gun with professional bands of all styles including rock, blues, singer/songwriter, jazz, and pop. In 2019, I was invited to attend a short private songwriting workshop at Jungle City Studios in New York City where I was mentored by Alicia Keys and Ann Mincieli (Alicia Key’s Engineer) where I learned songwriting and arrangement skills.

I’ve been playing guitar for over 11 years and have been teaching professionally for 7 years in lesson studios and online. I’ve had independent one on one training over the course of my 11 year guitar career. I’ve taken classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston and Musicians Institute in Los Angeles where I got to learn from the best of the best, including Joe Stump and Don Lappin. As far as vocal training goes, I’ve been professionally taught since the age 13 and learned the ins and outs of jazz, blues, and rock.

Shamrock Music Shoppe

I spent 4 years at Shamrock Music Shoppe giving private instruction for guitar, bass, voice, and ukulele! I taught students of all ages and created an innovative goal "roadmap" concept to help each student achieve their musical goals. I helped prepare students for student concerts every spring and winter where they performed a song in a full band setting. I also taught week long rock and songwriting workshops to students over the summer to teach them how to perform in a band and how to write songs through numerous creativity approaches.
