Hello! I am an experienced music teacher from the Tampa Bay area, and graduated with a Music Education degree from the University of South Florida. My specialty has been teaching chorus ages K-8 for about 4 years in classrooms, and private lessons for about 7 years. I am also a performer, and have gigs with local bands, weddings, and have played piano for local shows and even bell choir. I want to get to know you and your goals. I love teaching many different genres of music, ranging from vocal jazz, broadway, or classical to rock n' roll, world music, pop and contemporary. Depending on what your style is, I would love to show what you want to learn. I am able to pick out melodies by ear and translate them to your level. I can also help with fundamentals of singing and music theory, chord charts, note training, sight reading or aural skills. Chord charts, music, accompaniment tracks or lyrics are supplied for singing or piano. I also may recommend certain books that can help you excel if you wish!
