Hello! My name is Eli Neslund. I am twenty-two years old and I am a graduate of Boston Conservatory for musical theatre with a focus in voice. I am a classically trained singer who has also been singing jazz and broadway styles for most of my life. I grew up in Anchorage Alaska with my very large family, constantly playing sports or music. I have been singing for as long as I can remember. I began taking vocal lessons from a young age and started teaching voice my sophomore year of high school. My ultimate goal as a performer is to work in the professional industry, whether that be in a small regional theatre in Alaska or on the largest stage on Broadway. Ever since I was younger I knew that I had to perform in one way or another. I could not imagine myself at a desk job, therefore I was determined to make my voice into my career. Attending Boston Conservatory has been so incredibly beneficial in helping me grow as a performer as well as a teacher. I am receiving some of the best vocal technique in the world, and I feel that I am able to pass that technique on to you. My lessons are very much fun; mostly because I wouldn’t teach if I didn’t have any fun. I try to create a completely judge free environment. The point of these lessons are for you to improve your voice and grow as a performer. I want to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can truly feel like you got something out of the lesson. I cannot wait to get started. Let’s have some fun!
