Blues Guitar with Eduardo R.

Im a classical trained guitarist, I did my classical studies in UDLAP (Mexico) under the mentor-ship of the great cuban educator and guitarist Manuel Espinás and did my counterpoint studies with the American composer Brian Banks. I worked in the musicology field in Mexico collaborating with important researchers from Latin-America as Ricardo Miranda and Aurelio Tello. I've been an active musician as well, collaborating in different projects form Jazz, soul, classical, rock and pop music. In 2014 I went to Brazil to work in an NGO as a music teacher. I funded and directed a music school in Mexico in 2011 and I've been taking students since then. My passion for the music is so big that I traveled to NYC for the first time to take lesson with musicians of the jazz scene in 2017 and after experienced the great artistic level of the City I moved to New York for good. I've studied with musicians like Jonathan Kriesberg, Steve Cardenas, Barry Harris, Lage Lund but the most significant mentorship is been with the Master Drummer Michael Carvin that is currently my mentor.
