- Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
I am a graduate of UC Irvine's jazz studies program and have over 10 years of teaching experience. My goal is to help my students achieve their own self set goals through proper instruction, technique and support. I teach all levels and genres, from learning how to properly hold a guitar to advanced techniques of improvisation and performance. It doesn't matter if you are looking for extra help with imporvising or are just learning your first chords, I'm here to help!

I am a professional teacher, performer and composer in Sonoma County. I have a degree in jazz studies from UC Irvine and have been teaching and performing since 2013. I specialize in jazz, but I grew up playing Led Zeppelin, The Red Hot Chili Pepper, and Paramore. I currently lead three bands (a duo, trio and quartet), and play with about three more. My goal is to help my students reach concrete, achievable goals, from learning how to solo to mastering a walking bassline. I work with all genres, including pop, rock, jazz, country, and alt. - if you can think of it, I teach it!
I have been working with private students for over five years.
I worked as a music theory teacher while I was earning my B.A. at UC Irvine. I worked with small groups (less than 15 children) at a time teaching music theory and practice.
