Many great drummers practice for hours--but are afraid to perform. That used to be me..... But now I play on stages large and small and tour around the world. I currently play in the band St. Lucia. We've performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and the Main Stage at Coachella as well as touring nationally and around the world. EDUCATION Master of Music - Manhattan School of Music Master of Education - Columbia University Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz - New School University I also have a strong passion to teach and share what I've learned to help drummers become the best they can be! Dustin is one of the most thorough and articulate drummers I know. We've been close since 2003 and have spent many hours together practicing the drum kit. He's well versed in genres of jazz and pop and is super encouraging, motivating and disciplined. Any time spent with Dustin will be cherished and not forgotten.

You will not find a better drum teacher than Dustin! Dustin is an amazing, energetic and passionate musician and that passion and energy is certainly not lost in his teaching. He is methodical about his teaching and is interested in his students' favorite genres and musicians. Dustin always wrote out the exercises that we learned in our lessons which made me eager to get home and practice everyday. He is motivational, patient and clear in his instruction and explanations. My lessons with Dustin always inspire me to take my drumming skills to greater heights! I highly recommend Dustin and guarantee you will not be disappointed!

I've never actually taken lessons from Dustin but I've jammed with him several times and known him personally for almost a year. He has incredible work ethic and integrity. He is highly professional and mature in managing his time and nurturing his relationships with fellow musicians. I can always depend on him to keep his word, show up on time (or early) and communicate any changes in plans. Dustin is personable, warm, and a clear communicator. He's driven and not afraid to put in hard work to reach his goals. I highly recommend Dustin.
