I have a unique way of teaching with every different student. I believe that we all learn in different ways and at different speeds, so I tailor each lesson to fit accordingly. First and foremost, playing guitar should be fun. Once it becomes work or not fun, then something has gone wrong. My goal is to bring a sense of accomplishment and achievement to each lesson and to show each student that it doesn't take much to pick up the guitar and play a few chords. I'm very outgoing and humorous, and bring that to the lesson each time. We will do serious work, but that doesn't mean we have to be serious people. Do you want to play your favorite songs? I can help you build a foundation of knowledge, a "Tool Box" as I call it, that will help you learn and listen to the songs you love and be able to discern how to play them. I have been a professional touring musician for over 10 years and have played with many different A-list artists. I've played more than 600 shows in 30 countries, as well as numerous television shows. Aside from touring, I also produce/ co-write for other musicians and artists for their own projects. I am still an active musician and tour frequently, which is one of the reasons I chose TakeLessons as the platform I felt most comfortable with. I am able to teach online as well as in person. So even if you are not located in Los Angeles, or I am out on tour, I can still work with you remotely.
