Gospel Singing with Doren R.

Doren concentrates on correct breathing first to ensure that I have enough breath to sing. Then we do exercises to train my ears. After that we always work on a song to teach me when to breathe as I sing the song, so I don’t run out of air. I enjoy our lessons very much!! He is very observant of my breathing. The first most important thing he is teaching me is proper breathing technique. I enjoy our lessons very much!! I think Doren is an excellent instructor - patient and kind. We have fun while I’m learning. I recommend Doren very highly!! That’s why I give him five stars!!!

Doren is patient and very encouraging. He has concentrated on my breathing because I haven’t been breathing properly. This will help me have enough air in my lungs to sing the songs I want to sing! He is very patient and encouraging, which makes the lessons a lot of fun!! I highly recommend Doren if you want to learn to sing well.!!

I’ve always loved singing but was never comfortable singing in front of others. Doren created a safe and comfortable learning experience that helped me get passed my fears and grow my voice and confidence. He is not only knowledgeable in everything music but also very encouraging while still pushing you to be your best.
