I'm a Trumpeter, Cornetist, and Composer based in Brooklyn, NY, with experience in music ranging from jazz standards, to hip-hop, to original compositions, to free improvisation. I'm currently finishing a dual degree program at The New School in Jazz Performance and in Psychology. In addition to work as a musician, I'm also involved in psychology research.

I work from a contemporary Caruso-inspired approach to progressively develop the student's sound, range, and endurance while relieving pressure and tension. I also feel that a strong technical foundation, developed through the study of etudes, exercises, and transcribed solos is essential, though in my opinion, technique serves and cannot be isolated from musical expression. Music theory will be approached from a similar standpoint, through learning and performing music as well as through great historical examples.
