    About Diane C.

    Hi there! A dancer since the age of three, I have trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, modern, pas de deux, pointe, and tap. I have performed professionally with companies ranging from the Polish National Ballet to Walt Disney Entertainment! As a teacher, I am experienced, patient, and extremely passionate; my forte is classical ballet. My teaching style is attentive, dedicated, heartfelt, and humorous. I have taught students of all abilities, ages 3 through adult, for the past six years. I have a M.A. in Dance Education from NYU and am an ABT® Certified Teacher in Pre-Primary through Level 7 & Partnering. I also enjoy choreographing as well as coaching for competitions and performances. Let's create together! *** Lesson Details *** Each lesson will be tailored to the student's individual goals, which will be discussed during the first few minutes. Goals may include flexibility, injury rehabilitation, stamina, strength, technique, and/or artistry. If a student desires to continue his/her training between lessons, I will provide a instructional document with exercises that can be done at home. Music can also be provided upon request for home practice. *** Travel Equipment *** I will provide myself and music from a laptop or iPod. *** Specialties *** BALLET, PAS DE DEUX, POINTE, and CLASSICAL VARIATIONS. Also contemporary, jazz, lyrical, modern, and tap.
