I will determine the students ability and then structure a plan around that student. I will let the student play but will give instructions on how the student can tackle the piece better and then become a better piano player. I teach all aspects of the piece so the student is not just learning songs, they're mastering them and the instrument.

Hi, I've been playing piano for 35 years. I'm currently in a jazz band here in Northern VA. I started teaching piano in 2015. I listen to the students and their needs and teach accordingly to that students ability to play.
