Trumpet with Devanie S.

My name is Devanie, and I have been playing trumpet since 2010. I have been teaching since 2014 and I have loved every minute of it! I was in the Idaho Falls Youth Symphony and first chair in the BYU-I High School Honor Band where I was offered a full ride scholarship, as well as in the Idaho Gem State Honor Band. I was in the Idaho All-State Honor Band, Idaho State Solo Competition, and the All-Northwest Honor Band held in Washington. I was also awarded the John Phillip Sousa Award at my school. I have taught anywhere from first time picking up the instrument to graduating high school and helping students make it into local honor bands. I am all about helping the student reach their goals and become more knowledgeable in the trumpet world. Trumpet has been my life and I love sharing that with anyone and everyone!
