Living in a college town presents the opportunity for me to collaborate with college students, faculty, and semi-professional artists in the area. I have accompanied over 100 musicians and have frequently played for auditions, masterclasses, and recitals. I have also traveled as one of the accompanists for the Central Regional NATS competitions. I very much enjoy the collaborating process and meeting fellow musicians.

Piano Accompanist

At New Covenant Academy, I accompany 4 choirs ranging from 5th to 12th grade. I assist and substitute for the choir director when needed. I am required to sight-read and play open scores at a very high level. I most enjoy getting to know all of the students and seeing them grow emotionally, socially, and musically throughout the year.

I teach piano to students grades K-12. I am passionate and enthusiastic about students learning new musical skills. I hold a recital twice a year and it always amazes me to see the growth in every student.

I have been playing piano professionally for 7 years and teaching for 3. I have experience teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. I have received a Masters in Piano Performance at Missouri State University, and was the graduate assistant for 2 years. Personally, I enjoy performing a wide variety of genres including classical, jazz, opera, and pop. My goal as a teacher is to help students become well-rounded, educated, and passionate about creating music that can reach audiences everywhere.
