Hi! My name is Derek and I have been playing music since I could grab pots and pans and play them with wooden spoons! I played trumpet and french horn middle school through high school. I have been playing drums for 11 years and cajon/djembe, etc for about 7. I have played acoustic guitar for 6 years and have played electric for 3. I absolutely love sharing and teaching and consider myself very down to earth. I try my hardest to explain everything I can in the simplest more practical way possible.
