Classical Piano with Denise C.

I have been teaching piano lessons for over 12 years. I started teaching when I was in high school. This really helped me connect to a lot of my students and they could see me more as a friend than a teacher. Music lessons should be fun and I try very hard to keep the lesson environment that way. I originally was trained in classical piano. After a few years, I switched to jazz. Jazz taught me how to improvise while playing with others. It also helped me with war training. Now, I am able to play a song just by listening to it. This has allowed me to use current songs that are unavailable for sheet music for lessons.
