I began to play the piano in 4th grade and immediately fell in love with it!  I continued with piano lessons through college. I have accompanied orchestras and singing groups and have been a church pianist for over 20 years.  For the last 14 years plus, I have enjoyed teaching students of all ages. Students will learn in a creative, relaxed atmosphere. I want each student to feel a sense of accomplishment every week and look forward to the next lesson. After just a few weeks, the beginning student will be playing some familiar songs and will know many musical terms. Within a couple months, they will be playing with both hands and moving their hands to different positions on the keyboard. I am able to teach lessons from my pet-free home or yours. Student must have a standard 88 key piano to practice on. I will be willing to purchase the books; students can purchase books from me.
