Wrote and recorded Detroit Pistons 2018-2019 theme song • Perform weekly as a solo artist or in band at bars, nightclubs and festivals across the metropolitan Detroit area including: Arts Beats and Eats, Royal Oak Music Theatre, Masonic Temple and Campus Marcius tree lighting ceremony.  •Set up equipment, microphone placement and operation of house soundboards across a variety of acoustic landscapes. •Compose, perform and record independently using prolific knowledge of Audio engineering software.  •Obtain mechanical licenses and copyrights for global music distribution.

I aim to develop a curriculum based on the students interest, while introducing relevant concepts that will expand their knowledge in a personally gratifying way. I'll offer both technical and abstract explanations of music to encourage each student’s creative instincts and in turn form a more impactful learning experience. I'm very friendly, and elated to share my passion for music with anyone who's interested. I won't judge or discourage you, guitar is fun, social, and fulfilling:) Lets Jam!

Hi! I'm a full time performer/teacher in the greater Detroit area. I teach all ages, skill levels, and genres of music. My goal is to develop a curriculum based on the students interest, while introducing relevant concepts that expands their knowledge in a manner that is both constructive and entertaining! If you have a genuine interest in beginning or continuing your guitar education, I'll help you learn on your terms. If you don't know where to start, I'll do my best to enlighten a pathway that is fascinating and fulfilling, whilst in an environment that is non judgmental and encouraging. All ages are welcome, from elementary students receiving their 1st guitar to adults looking for a way to unwind after work. Lets Jam!

I stumbled on David by chance as I was looking for a new guitar instructor. I play for hobby and one of those people who can only play what they can play because of mass amounts of practice – no talent here : )  I presented David my wish list, I was looking for someone to help get me out of a rut, work as a mentor and develop a plan to get me back on a path to shredding someday. David took this challenge and with a back to the basics approach I soon had a deeper understanding of music theory topics I had practiced and tried to understand for years. David paid attention to the goal I envisioned, every lesson was a step in that direction and as a mentor to help me on my personal music journey; can’t say enough good things about him – fantastic teacher for any age, any level.

I needed an instructor who could help me grasp the concept of scale modes and modal soloing on guitar. David did just that.  And he didn’t just show me, he made me think and figure it out for myself.   I am now on my way toward much more enlightened solos.
