A fun, friendly, and professional Music Instructor at your service for Voice, Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums, & Ukulele! I have a BA degree from Florida Atlantic University in Music Performance for Classical/Flamenco/Jazz/Blues guitar and I've also performed on the Piano/Keyboards for a couple different bands too. Love to play & teach pretty much all styles of music! It is always a pure joy & truly rewarding to see my music students grow and flourish in their musical abilities. I have been enjoying doing this now for 20+ years- all ages & levels. I am also in a multi-dimensional rock project and a recording artist with my band Vision.

I believe it's important to learn the rudiments of music to build a good foundation (scales, chord vocabulary, theory, song-composition, performing techniques), but I also base the lessons on whatever the interests and strengths are for the student. For example, if you enjoy jazz more than classical we'll focus more on what you are particularly passionate about. I have also been a part of School of Rock Programs in which we provided performances for the students a la Jack Black. Please contact Takelessons to let the musical journey begin...

Very easygoing with my shy child. After his first lesson, and being unsure, my son now thinks he will like piano. He said, "it's fun"!

David was very helpful and I learned more about my Roland keyboard. He is very friendly and likeable. He was very patient with me as I haven't played for a long timed. I'm looking forward to my next lesson.

David is really easygoing and so patient. He's helped me to learn some songs in genres I like and I'm comfortable playing along with him in a way that I hadn't been in previous lessons. I'm glad to be learning from him.

I was a little skeptical with my son, who is six years old,to start taking drum lessons because I thought he was too young. Well, it turns out that he is not and I am thankful that David is his teacher because he is awesome with him. He is very kind and patient. My son is learning a lot! I am very happy.

David is very patient teacher and he truly personalizes his lessons. He focuses on what you want to learn (e.g. how to read music, learn to play a specific song), and he gets you there with great, fun exercises to encourage learning. He is really good with beginners. I would highly recommend David for the Uke.

David is an incredible instructor, I'm not writer so it's a challenge to express how the combination of his talent, personality and love of the arts that makes him so easy to work with. His sessions are magical and he really has taught me a lot in a short period of time. Highly Recommended.

David is a great teacher for many reasons, but first of all he loves people and music. He's easy to work with, positive, fun and amazing at accelerating my guitar skills. I highly recommend him.

David was my first choice and I couldn't be more satisfied. He's prompt and polite. He shows patience in it's entirety yet he is very persistent as he just only wants to progress. Also, he is extremely encouraging and not just talk. I told David at our first lesson that I had never touched a guitar before and that he was out of his mind to suggest we start with The Beatles as a first song to learn. He just smiled and said I could learn it by the end of the month if I really wanted to. It came out like a challenge but I liked that he had faith in my abilities, and sure enough after only two months of practicing I felt confident enough to get up on stage and perform live. It was my first performance ever. David's passion for music makes him a stellar instructor!

When I met David, music had not always been a positive experience. As an older student, I am not always able to practice and I do have other things on my mind. He has never scolded me for not practicing, he is very patient with all my musical hangups, and he keeps meeting me where I am at. I may still not be comfortable with music, but I am comfortable with him.

David is a wonderful music teacher. He is especially good with children because of his patience and intuitive approach. He puts a great deal of care and energy into each one of his students and gets great results! His ability to meet students where they are at, and to engage them with music that they care about helps his students to enter more deeply into the learning process. David is a thoughtful, passionate, and skilled music teacher.
