I've been teaching for 28 years now teaching students of all ages. I teach piano and electronic keyboard I teach independently. I think what makes my teaching unique is my ability to look at a student's hands and see if they are using them in the maximum efficient way to achieve the right gesture(s) to master a piece. I have training in both Jazz and classical music .I'm patient and I love kids .

I have 28 years of experience teaching students of all ages . I'm patient and I love kids. I have a college degree in Jazz studies and did a classical piano recital my senior year in college . I also can play and program synthesizers . For many years I performed playing jazz piano ,being a keyboardist in bands playing popular music, and accompanying ballet classes with classical music . *** Studio Equipment *** f/w keyboard in living room seating for parents . *** Specialties *** Beginning piano,Jazz Improvisation,Classical Piano, and Synthesizer Programming .I've taught using various piano methods including Alfred,Schaum,Faber ,and Bastien.

Schaum Music School

I taught piano and electronic keyboard using primarily the Schaum piano method . We had four recitals per year . I had three teaching pieces published by Schaum including Runaround Rock which was on the National Federation of Music Junior Festival Required List for three years . I wrote various jazz piano exercises and notated jazz piano solos for my jazz piano students .
