David is awesome!! He tailors lessons to fit your musical preference but also takes you out of your comfort zone to challenge you and help one build confidence...in three short lessons I've learned so much! Not just technically, but personally as well. Great teacher, fun sessions, highly recommend

Today was my 8 yr old grand daughter's first session with Dave and she was a little nervous about her first lesson. Dave was very patient and very pleasurable.
On the way home, my grand daughter told me she liked Mr. Dave, had a lot of fun and can't wait for next week's lesson.

Great teacher! I learn so much more in my lessons with David than I think I ever would anywhere else. He is very patient and breaks down music theory so it is easy to understand. Bass is tricky for me and he helps me understand my place more and provides context. He also instills a lot of confidence in my abilities and gives great feedback. And he's a lot of fun!

I'm loving my new banjo and so excited to have found David as a teacher. David really has been instrumental in me learning the banjo. He's a great teacher and very knowledgable about music. He sets you up for success and builds on that! I highly recommend David for the banjo or pretty much any instrument. He does it all!

David is the best teacher for beginnings - he can teach you any beginner level instrument and make learning materials relevant available to you both in and out of class. I am so grateful that I found him to be my teacher - it took me 5 weeks to find a good Mandolin teacher. He is absolutely AWESOME! Knowledgeable, patient, passionate, all you can name. I am excited to follow his lecture and practice more with my new mandolin.

I absolutely LOVE taking lessons with David! It is the best part of my week!
Being a somewhat shy individual and an adult student, I was really nervous to begin music lessons with a stranger.. David put me at ease from day one. Each thirty minute session is packed with just enough material to keep me occupied during practice through the week and eager for more by the time our next lesson comes around. His instrument knowledge is phenomenal, and it makes the experience so much more fun to have David accompany my mandolin playing with banjo or guitar. He is also great for giving advice on buying a new instrument. Best-Instructor-Ever! I can't recommend David enough

Excellent Teacher

Dave is able to work with me, a beginner, and provide me with enough challenge so that I keep learning and also keep interested in drums. He has a great sense of humor along with patience which is important with a teacher whom is teaching a beginner. At times he will also take out a guitar and play along which adds to the fun.

David was great to work with as i just started the guitar. Very understanding, patient and challenging, which is exactly what i needed. Unfortunately i couldn't continue because of my work and travel schedule but hope to start again sometime later this year. Thanks David!!
