Trumpet with David A.

A performer and composer, David has been teaching students ranging from beginner to collegiate level. Catering to each student learning style, incorporating math, science, abstract thinking into his musical teaching David helps the student grow on a personal level. David received a Bachelor's from the Eastman School of Music in Trumpet Performance and a Master's in Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts in the Performer-Composer Program. He has been a featured guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, performing not only with the Tonight Show Band but playing Haydn's Trumpet Concerto while solving the Rubik's Cube. David has toured with international groups as well as performing with renowned ensembles such as the Eastman Wind Ensemble, Eastman Musica Nova, and Vinny Golia's Large Ensemble. As a composer his works have been played at Chosen Vale Trumpet Seminar, in Enfield New Hampshire, and the Chicago area as well as Calarts New Century Players, and Eastman Recitals. His compositions range from classical contemporary to experimental, using a wide variety of instruments acoustic and electronic.
