Learn to play viola with technical efficiency and learn to unleash your inner musical self! Lessons are about fostering a learning environment where a student can explore, develop and harness musical and "violistic" ideas for themselves. My teaching focuses on building musical skills as well as critical reasoning skills, work habits, creative problem-solving, and self-awareness. Students will experience a wide range of viola repertoire and etude material.

My name is Dave and I LOVE to play and teach the viola! My students find success at school music festivals, youth orchestra auditions, and college auditions. I have experience teaching students from 4th-40th grade and love getting to know the needs of each student.

Dave has been providing an excellent experience for me the past few years I have been having lessons with him. Even during online lessons Dave knows how to explain and demonstrate ideas and concepts. When it comes to taking a person's playing to the next level, I'd always recommend Dave.
