    Grow your love of singing into an art

    My love of music came from my mother who first taught my 3 sisters and me around her piano before we were school-aged children. She encouraged us and developed us into musicians, providing us with many opportunities to perform for widely diverse audiences and with piano and voice lessons. I knew from the start that I would be spending my life spreading joy to the world through song. Starting with popular music of the day, we went on to learn the Standards of popular music and Broadway. We began classical training early as well. Later on 3 of us traveled the world as gospel singer/songwriters, and then I earned my master of voice where I started singing opera. I teach the technical skills of breath support, diction, focus, and resonance but my passion is teaching my students to carry their audiences on the wings of song. Dont be satisfied to merely sing a song. Learn to deliver powerful messages that strum the heartstrings of your listeners.

    I am originally from Indianapolis & have been singing all my life, with my 3 sisters and as a solo artist, starting with Popular music and musical theater. I earned my BA in Sacred Music; sang Gospel music with 2 of my sisters through 13 states and most of Europe and for U.S. Army in S Korea. Earned my Master's at the Univ. of TN, performing with the Knoxville Opera Co and Indianapolis Opera Co. Taught privately and at collegiate level. Have sung in church choirs and on praise teams all my life and served as Choir director and song leader.

    Singer/songwriter of gospel music with 2 sisters, traveled 13 states in the U.S. in churches, jails, prisons, and on U.S, Army posts. Recorded Gospel Music Album in 1982: "The Jones Sisters Shine!" Spent 1984 in 9 countries of Western Europe working with Eurasia Teen Challenge, based in West Germany and France; sang and instructed in evangelism using music, drama, and puppets; street ministry, & coffee house ministry. Spent most of 1985 in Western Europe independent of Eurasia Teen Challenge, singing/ministering in churches and prisons and to U.S. military. We also ministered in South Korea singing for U.S. Army troops.
