Daniel Tressel is an exceptional musician and teacher who has been providing cello lessons to my son for the past five years. Under his direction, my son has reached a level of play that is far beyond what he would have attained through his school orchestra program alone. Daniel is professional yet very personable and tailors his instruction to the needs of the student. His critiques are effective and nonjudgmental, guiding the student to improve with each lesson. He is always punctual and is timely with communication. I am delighted with how much my son has progressed as a musician under Daniel's direction. I highly recommend him as an instructor.

Daniel is helping my ten year old to develop skills that prepare him for success in cello performance. His patient, well-spoken style is useful and encouraging. Lessons are structured, yet varied. My child’s interest is maintained throughout the 45 minute lesson.

Daniel is a patient and thorough teacher. He provides structured lessons with enough flexibility to address any specific difficulties a student is encountering; either with the lesson material, or material from any activities the student participates in. Personally he has helped with technical bits from music I've played at church as well as music from a youth orchestra I belong to.
