I believe music lessons should be a blast or they shouldn't be at all. I love teaching kids of all ages (adults too!) and jamming out to their favorite songs. Of course there's so much to learn, but there's a way of pacing out the material so they can have fun while learning the theory and technique. My teaching methods include all the basic elements (technique, theory, ear training, performance, etc.) but my approach is more based on the needs of each student. * Lesson Details * I meet each student in the way they need to be met: if they need a serious approach, I meet them with the same intensity (and raise them a few!). Most students seem to prefer a laid back, more "fun" approach, which I am excellent at providing as well. * Travel Equipment * We can make arrangements if the student doesn't own the instrument * Specialties * Piano - A focus on fundamentals and technique Guitar - I teach all the basic styles (pop, rock, jazz). I specialize in Bluegrass/Folk/Country rhythm and lead guitar styles Drums - West African Recording/Production - Ableton/Pro Tools

Danny's enthusiasm for his music and his work is contagious! He knows his stuff, that's for sure. But what's really great about Danny is his personality. He is so calm, and very kind and respectful, no matter what your level of skill or knowledge. And he has a terrific sense of humor. You will definitely have fun while learning from Danny!

Danny is probably the sweetest most patient teacher i've ever had the pleasure of learning from. Whenever I felt flustered Danny would calm me and go over the lesson from top to bottom until I was comfortable. He is an excellent source of musical inspiration as well. 10/10 Would take lessons from in the future

Danny knows what he is doing and even more knows how to teach it! He connects to the music in a very personal way, but can still relate to you even if you don't "get it yet." Meaning, even outside of the classroom, he has all the elements you would want. He listens, thinks, and tried to focus on exactly what you need and how he can provide it to you. I strongly encourage you to contact him!
