I am a professional musician and trumpet player. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Music Business and received and AA in trumpet performance from Citrus College where I studied with some of the greatest teachers/players in the country. Students will be taught the Bill Adam routine which will focus on breathing and creating the sound that you hear in your mind. If you can sing it you can play it. Students will learn to release built up tension and apply foundational techniques to unlock their own individual sound. I will help any student become the player they want to be. I have been studying trumpet since I was a young child. . I can teach students to read music and pursue classical excellence, to learn how to play contemporary music and commercial music, along with anything they may be working on in their school music programs. My personal passion is contemporary/commercial music but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!
